Spring 2024, UI/UX

In collaboration with Diane Choi, Connor Moore, and Eli Shust

In our Interaction Design class, my team and I were tasked to redesign a website of our choice — focusing on the accessibility and navigability of the site. We decided on Goodreads, a social platform that allows users to keep track of their reading progress.

Heuristic Analysis of Goodreads

We began looking at the original website. With our heuristic analysis, we noticed some accessibility issues throughout the site and its navigation.

Redesign Primary Focus

With four user personas, we explored unique considerations to address acessibility concerns for our redesign.

User Personas

After our analysis, we developed our primary goals for our redesign. We focused on how the site could become more accessible through its organization, its navigation, and hierarchy.
